Community Refuge Ministry is a non-denominational church in Pelham, Tennessee, committed to preaching the Gospel, building up believers, and serving our community.
Our mission
Why We Exist
We exist to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. Everything we do — our worship, our preaching, our community life — flows from that single purpose. We believe the local church is God's primary instrument for advancing His kingdom on earth, and we take that calling seriously.
We are not a perfect church — we are a church of people who know they need a perfect Savior. If you are searching, doubting, or simply curious, you are welcome here. Come as you are and encounter the grace of God.
What we believe
Our Core Beliefs
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, offering forgiveness and new life to all who believe.
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is a free gift from God — received through faith in Jesus Christ, not earned by anything we do.
The Church
We believe the local church is the body of Christ, called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and evangelism.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering them to live a life that honors God and bears witness to the Gospel.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead and establish His eternal kingdom.
